A special red blend featuring the local Teran grape, blended with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Medium to full bodied red, ruby red with a purple hue in colour. 

Intense fruity bouquet of plums, black fruits, with a hint of earth, smoke and coffee. Spicy, fresh acidity typical of Slovenian Karst wines. Soft in the mouth with silky tannins but also complex and intense, long aftertaste.

Mature wine that has aged for 7 years in 1500L wooden barrels and 2 years in the bottle. Further storage potential is excellent. 

Terra Rossa means 'red soil', which reflects the Karst region's iron-rich red top soil over limestone from maritime fossils.
