We bring low-intervention, small-batch wines from Slovenia and the surrounding region to a new generation of curious drinkers in Singapore.

 

Our portfolio focus is on orange wines, pét-nats, and chillable reds; and our wines are suitable for all-occasion drinking that pair beautifully with Asian flavours. 

We work with independent, trailblazing producers who practise organic or biodynamic viticulture and are deeply committed to environmentally sustainable, low-intervention winemaking. Most of them hand-harvest their grapes and champion indigenous varieties that express a sense of place.

Our name, The Amphora Project, is inspired by the ancient clay vessel amphora used in traditional winemaking. For us, it’s a symbol of going back to roots, and back to nature.

 

 

The Amphora Project was born after one too many glasses of orange wine in Slovenia, shared between co-founders Bao, GPS, and our now local partner Boris - who (legend has it) owns the largest orange wine cellar in Europe.
