Klabjan Orange Malvazija 2022

Aromas of white peach, citrus, apple, honey, apricot. Fresh full-bodied orange peel on the palate and a characteristic mineral and salty finish. The pleasant fresh fruitiness and long aftertaste bring a nice roundness and multi-layered complexity. Amazing price quality ratio 3-4 days maceration. Aged in stainless steel and concrete for at least 12 months, sometimes with a few months in a large oak barrel before bottling.

Klabjan Refosco 2021

Notes of red and black berries, herbs, and spices like black pepper, with soft, velvety tannins and balanced acid, creating a juicy and lingering finish. Bold, complex, smooth and a full mouthfeel.  Made from 30 year old vines of refosco grapes 30 days maceration, aged 24 months in stainless steel and oak

Krapež Lapor Belo 2020

Full bodied orange wine with a pronounced bouquet of ripe peach, dried apricot and balsamic notes in the background. On the palette, it is dry, flavorful, with a clear tannin grip and an intense, persistent finish. Awarded Bronze by Decanter. "This is quite rounded with a restrained stone fruit nose and palate and a fast, warm finish" This wine is well-suited for pairing with poultry, fish, shellfish, and matured cheeses 7-day maceration followed by spontaneous fermentation. Aged 12 months in a large oak barrel on its fine lees. Bottled without clarification or filtration

Krapež Malvazjia 2021

Aromas of ripe peach, honey, dried herbs. Mineral, tasty and long finish.  Well structured with tannins present. Recommended to pair with food, like fish from the grill, pasta, and poultry. Awarded "Bronze" award by Decanter. "This is a well-made, fruit-driven wine with medium intensity, modest complexity and fair persistence." Spontaneous fermentation with 7 days of maceration then matured on fine lees in oak barrels.Bottled without filtration

Krapež Orange Amfora 2019

Aromas of ripe flowers, grapefruit, vanilla, caramel, black tea, wood. Full bodied with tannins and a looong finish. Decant to drink now or can be aged.  Great with spicy, flavourful food.  12 months maceration in amphora, aged 12 months in oak barrels. Only 1500 bottles

Smoky lemons! With camomile and honeyed aromas.  The palate is similar to the bouquet - dry, textured, and vibrantly fresh—with subtle tannins and a medium-length finish that invites sip after sip 5 days of maceration with the skins, followed by spontaneous fermentation and 12 months ageing in oak on fine leesBottling: No cleaning and filtration, 6500 bottles.

Matic Pinot Gris 2024

Cheerful aromas of forest strawberries, rosehip and red apples, all escorted by a soft but potent warm green scent of geranium – A wine that is floral, fresh and lively with a touch of citrus-like brightness. The palate is dry with lush, crisp and uplifting acidity and soft tannic structure. Lead by red fruit, a bit of brioche and overall pleasantly spicy. The wine is a beautiful copper color resulting from 18 days of skin contact.. It has been aged for six months on the fine lees before bottling, which gives a soft texture and character.

Matic Ya Yeh 2024

Matic's Ya Yeh is a 100% Sauvignon Blanc full-bodied orange wine. Skin contact brings out full aromas like white peach, pineapple, passion fruit, grapefruit. Delicate acidity. 25 days of skin maceration and 6 months of ageing in concrete eggs. The name 'Ya Yeh' is a local nickname for eggs, and refers to the shape of the vessel.

Matic Yellow Muscat 2024

Yellow Muscat is a vibrant and easy going orange wine crafted by Matic Wines. Made with aromatic Muscat grapes, there are notes of honeysuckle and tropical fruits; with citrus, apple and peach on the palate. Soft tannins make it ideal for food as well as drinking on its own. 12 days of skin maceration.

Rebenhof Maischevergoren 2017

Silky aromas of honey, white stone fruit, herbs and spice. Vegetative, slightly oxidative, proper grip. The grapes come from biodynamic 20 to 40 years old vines on very steep single vineyard plots.  12 months maceration and 24 months ageing in Austrian oak The wine will continue to mature and evolve for 2 weeks after the bottle is open!  Maischevergoren means ‘fermentation on the skins’ in German. Rebenhof Rock II

Aromas of ripe apples, apricots, darjeeling tea, cinnamon and some spices. Firm acidity, grippy tannins. Grapes are from biodynamic 20 to 40 years old vines from single vineyards.  12 months maceration, aged for at least 24 months in stainless steel tanks and old barrels. The wines were blended in the winter of 2023 and aged for six months before bottling in the spring of 2023. The wine then aged for two years in the cellar before being released. Rebenhof SILT Lieu dit HB 2020

Aromas of flowers, ripe stone fruits, hay, herbal, earthy. Juicy and fresh tasting.  For the funky orange wine lovers who like well balanced acid! 2 days maceration, fermentation in stainless steel tanks.  Matured and aged for 60 months in stainless steel tanks on its lees.   Silt refers to a type of soil particle that is specifically finer than sand but coarser than clay and Lieu Dit here refers to the ‘said-location’ within the winemarker’s vineyard, where the soil is almost 100% pure silt. Soft tannins, hints of herbs, caramel, oaky notes, long stable finish.   Made with biodynamic sauvignon blanc grapes by 1 year-long semi-carbonic maceration process in closed vats under pressure (very rare method for orange wines) and 2 years ageing in oak barrels. No added sulphur. Taste profile evolves over days and weeks even after opening - one of a kind!
