Maischevergoren means āfermentation on the skinsā in German, and this a wild, vegetative, complex yet very elegant orange wine. Silky aromas of honey, white stone fruit, herbs and spice. Slightly oxidative, proper grip. The grapes come from biodynamic 20 to 40 years old vines on very steep single vineyard plots. Maceration of 1 year and ageing for 2 years in Austrian oak, but without trace of wood in the wine which has been finely incorporated. It is bottled unsulfured and unfiltered without further frills. Maischevergoren also marks the start of a new solera type project. If you like to experiment: we heard that the wine matures a few weeks after the bottle is open!Ā

Skin maceration for 1 year, aged for more than 2 years in stainless steel tanks and old barrels. The long fermentation and aging period reflects in the wineās complexity and depth. The wine's name comes from the title of a song by winemaker Hartiās favorite band, AC/DC, and is a deep, rock-like orange wine.

Our first Zibibbo and itās a stunning one! The Zibbibo grape, also known as Muscat of Alexandria, is one of the oldest known and rarest grapes in the world. Itās a ātriple threatā - a wine grape, table grape and raisin grape all in one. Its extreme adaptability is the main reason for its 5,000 years of history. Located in between Sicily and Tunisia (North Africa), the island of Pantelleria is the spiritual home of Zibibbo, where the grapes are grown in low bush vines to protect them from strong winds - a UNESCO-recognised agricultural method. This dry muscat wine is especially fresh, light and aromatic, with notes of elderflower, tropical fruits, nutmeg, raisin, sweet spice. Maceration for 3 days, and fermented and aged for 1 year on the yeast.Ā
