Located in between Sicily and Tunisia (North Africa), the island of Pantelleria is the spiritual home of Zibibbo. This dry muscat wine is especially fresh, light and aromatic, with notes of elderflower, tropical fruits, nutmeg, raisin, sweet spice. Maceration for 3 days, and fermented and aged for 1 year on the yeast. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe Zibbibo grape, also known as Muscat of Alexandria, is one of the oldest known and rarest grapes in the world. It’s a ‘triple threat’ - a wine grape, table grape and raisin grape all in one. Its extreme adaptability is the main reason for its 5,000 years of history. In Pantelleria, the grapes are grown in low bush vines to protect them from strong winds - a UNESCO-recognised agricultural method.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e3. On the palette, it's fruity, friendly and has slight perceived sweetness - although it's a dry wine.
